The Ancient AI is an artificial intelligence found during Uncovering the Past.
Background[]
The Ancient AI is encountered in a large subterranean cavern. The Ancient AI dates back to the pre-Scourge era of angaran civilization. Despite being trapped below the ice for centuries, it is still powered by the former city's power grid. While the AI has survived, it is clear that the long isolation has had detrimental effects. SAM indicates that the Ancient AI lies repeatedly during the conversation. Consequently, any information offered by the AI should be considered suspect. The Ancient AI is clearly distraught, suicidal, and wants nothing to do with Ryder.

If Ryder saves the AI, the AI can either be found in the Resistance Headquarters on Aya or the SAM Node on the Hyperion. Ryder can then interact with the AI at a terminal in that location for unique conversations.
If Ryder saves the AI, during Meridian: The Way Home, in battle the AI announces that it is assisting with calculations. It is unclear how this helps the battle inside the Remnant facility.
If Ryder gives the Ancient AI to the angara, during Meridian: The Way Home, a conversation over the comms talks about the computer helping with calculations. It is unclear how this helps the battle inside the Remnant facility.
