- This augmentation is unavailable for research until activation of the Northern Monolith during A Better Beginning.
- The Lanat and the Venom will not function correctly with the Beam Emitter augmentation. Instead of a constant beam like all other weapons using this augmentation, these weapons shoot what appears to be a projectile.
- Using this augmentation on a high ammo capacity weapon such as the Revenant assault rifle or the Cyclone assault rifle makes them the ultimate armor shredders, felling Fiends, Destroyers and Hydras in a swift and devastating manner.
- It is possible to use this augmentation with the Turbocharge skill supplied by the Soldier Profile for an even more destructive approach to armored targets.
