Chests are chest-slot armor. Body armor helps protect the wearer from hazardous environments and the dangers of combat.
- During development, chests can be modified with up to four augmentations (five with the Innovation perk).
- In addition to the seventeen augmentations available for any armor component, there are seven augmentations designed specifically designed for chests:
Battlefield Assist Module, Electrical Conduits, Kinetic Coil, Power Booster, Rebalanced Field Coils, Shield Oscillator, and Shield Sensors.
