Credits are the standard in-game currency for singleplayer mode. They are used to purchase weapons and weapon mods, armor, consumables, resources, augmentations, ND1 Nomad upgrades and paint jobs, and special items.

Acquisition[ | ]

Common Credits Icon Credits are earned as a reward for completing certain missions, selling items, found in containers, or in the remains of defeated foes in the Item Pickup menu. In addition, the Commerce Cryo pod perks Financial Infrastructure and Financial Infrastructure II provide credits at a fixed rate of time. Strike team missions are another possible source of income with credit loot boxes.

Rates[ | ]

With a few exceptions, all merchants have the same rates for buying and selling.

The Commerce Cryo pod perks Grey Market and Grey Market II improve prices across the board.

All merchants have an unlimited supply of credits.

Base Rates[ | ]

Purchase prices are five times the sale price (5 to 1), except for Common resources, which are six times the sale price (6 to 1).

Grey Market[ | ]

Sale prices are 25% higher and purchase prices are 5% lower. Purchase prices are 3.8 times sale prices (3.8 to 1).

Grey Market II[ | ]

Sale prices are 50% higher and purchase prices are 10% lower. Purchase prices are 3 times sale prices (3 to 1).

Notes[ | ]

The Scavenger Armor (chest) gets better prices when selling items by shifting Ryder up one tier on the sell price tables. HOWEVER, purchase prices are also shifted up one tier. The sell price benefit is good for unloading unwanted items but not for purchasing wanted goods.
