Deep Space Explorer Armor is full-body chest armor.

Description[]

The Andromeda Initiative's mission is one of discovery and exploration, as well as colonization. Readying personnel to journey into harsh environments—and even the void of space—was always part of the plan. Thus, the Initiative's custom Deep Space Explorer (DSE) hardsuit is equipped with multiple environment seals, failsafes, a hefty liquid oxygen supply, a formidable kinetic barrier generator, and an array of scientific instruments. Although many were built, most were mysteriously lost en route to Andromeda.

Blueprint[]

The blueprint for Deep Space Explorer Armor is available to players who purchased the Deluxe or Super Deluxe Edition.

The following resources are needed to develop this item:

This item has 4 augmentation slots available during development.

Notes[]

This armor is acquired through the Special Delivery Cache terminal on the desk in the Pathfinder's Quarters on the Tempest.

During a New Game +, the Special Delivery Cache terminal resets and another copy of this armor will be awarded.

The full-body armor functions as a chest piece during development. In addition to the seventeen augmentations available for any armor component, it can be modified during development with one of seven augmentations designed specifically for chest armor. Though it covers the arms and legs, it does not accommodate augmentations for arms or legs armor.

The full-body piece is unable to accept a fusion mod.

Depending upon the choice of twin, the full-body piece of this set will change in appearance slightly. The female version is slightly smaller and more feminine in nature. The male version is slightly larger and more muscular in nature. There is no difference in armor performance based on gender.
