Jaal Ama Darav: Friend or Foe? is an allies and relationships mission for Jaal Ama Darav. It is acquired after speaking to Evfra de Tershaav on the Tempest during the Priority Ops mission A Trail of Hope. It is broken into three identically titled parts. (See Notes)
Part 1
Description
While gaining Evfra's trust, you have garnered the attention of the Roekaar, a cell of angaran fighters who hate all aliens. Jaal has information about the Roekaar's leader, Akksul.
Objectives
- Speak to Jaal on the Tempest
- Find Thaldyr on Havarl
- Defeat the kett
- Enter Thaldyr's home
- Speak to Thaldyr
- ON HOLD: Wait for Jaal to set up a meeting

Part 2
Description
The Moshae has arranged a secret meeting between you and Akksul in her laboratory on Aya.
A distress call came in from Prodromos. Travel to Eos, and speak to Bradley for a full briefing on the situation.
The Roekaar are using homing beacons to guide their attack on Prodromos. You have devised a plan to use their own tactics against them by leading them into an ambush at Site 2: Resilience.
You have tricked the Roekaar into attacking Resilience rather than their intended target, Prodromos. Defeat them to protect your outpost.
You pushed the Roekaar out of Site 1 and Akksul has left Eos.

Description
After the Roekaar's failed attack on Prodromos, Jaal received a message from Akksul.

Notes
The mission Task: Roekaar Manifestos will be unable to be completed until Thaldyr's house is unlocked as one of the datapads is inside.
Part 1 ON HOLD - The first part is marked as complete and moved to Completed Missions after Jaal has arranged a meeting with the Moshae. Requires you to progress far enough in the mission Hunting the Archon. You will receive an email from the Moshae when the mission is ready to continue.
Part 2 ON HOLD - The second is marked as complete and moved to Completed Missions upon returning to the Tempest after thwarting the Roekaar attack on Eos and speaking to August Bradley.
Part 3 ON HOLD - To finish this mission, you need to land on any planet and then the next time you return to the Tempest, there is a new email from Jaal. Read the email and the mission then completes with the follow-up mission Jaal Ama Darav: Flesh and Blood starting automatically.
