Lani is an orphan whose parents died on the Mindoir colony when it was attacked. She has no siblings and left behind only distant relatives in the Milky Way. She hopes to one day be a farmer like her parents were. She came to the Initiative because Captain Dunn asked her to be her pilot. She is a wanderer at heart.
