The in-game description is deceiving in the wording of what is required to be awarded this achievement or trophy. This is not restricted to a jump of 30 meters in the forward direction. Jumping from a tall height and engaging jump-jets part way down to stop your fall will allow you to fall from a greater height. It is likely that you will die from jumping from a tall enough height but you will still be awarded this achievement or trophy.
