Remove the Heart is a heleus assignments mission. It is acquired by speaking with Buxil on Voeld after Meet the Family.

Description[]

Niilj and his team, whom you rescued from the kett, were Resistance operatives who were working to destroy the kett. They discovered that the kett operations station on the mountain controls all kett missions for the planet and provides power to the shield that blocks access to an ancient angaran city. Buxil, Niilj's sister, is helping you decrypt the password for the kett operations station.

This is a significant mission, both in effort and reward. Though it is not a priority ops or loyalty mission, it is not possible to save manually after SAM observes the secure storage until the outpost has been disabled.

The mission Fact Or Fiction should be obtained before beginning this mission, as the relevant console is in the secure storage area, on the lower level. That mission cannot be acquired after the destruction of the base.

The lower level of the secure storage area also holds 5 containers. The upper level holds another 5 containers and a Kett Core Encryption Tech device.

One of the three caches for Medical Caches is present in the cave approaching the mission site, as is a sample for Task: Hitting Rocks For Science.

During the closing conversation, Buxil will remark that the shield around Ja Niihk has been disabled and that it's a good time to investigate the city. If Ryder chooses to resupply in Techiix first, Buxil will take them in her shuttle. This is a free ride to Ari Vesjek and the completion of Fact Or Fiction.

The override consoles in the hangar cannot be scanned before SAM points them out.
