The Sidewinder rapid-fire pistol is a newly developed weapon, crafted by Nexus exiles with materials and technologies unique to the Andromeda Initiative and the Heleus Cluster. Versatile and reliable, the Sidewinder is perfect for a user with few resources to fallback on.

The following augmentations cannot be applied to the Sidewinder during development:

It is advised not to apply the Electrical Conduits augmentation to the Sidewinder due to an automatic firing problem. (See here for details.)

All multiplayer specialized variant weapons are separate weapons compared to the Rare version.

Due to the different versions of the Sidewinder in multiplayer, it is possible to equip multiple versions at the same time in the Loadout screen.
