The Charlatan's Charlatan is a heleus assignments mission. It is acquired by speaking with Crux in the Collective Base in the Draullir region on Kadara.

One of the Charlatan's representatives has been tweaking orders for their own gain. You have offered to discreetly investigate the Collective base to help uncover the imposter.

Crux has provided you with two clues to help identify the imposter: the footprint is humanoid in shape and they should have high levels of residual sulfur on their clothes.

You have narrowed down the suspects to Lynx and Dorado.

The Collective is on the run after the Charlatan's plan to assassinate Sloane was foiled during a duel for Kadara Port. The search for the imposer was called off.

If Ryder's line of questioning causes the suspect to flee:

Find Dorado
Defeat Dorado and her dogs

Choosing "You're completely loyal, huh?" alerts Dorado that she's been identified as the imposter and she will flee. The AVP and viability rewards are the same as if she doesn't run. The XP reward is based on combat and may vary, but is about the same. It's just more work to chase her down.

If High Noon is completed first and Ryder sides with Sloane Kelly, the mission is added to the completed mission section of the Journal, noting that the search for the imposter has been called off.
